Create A Native Preset In Lightroom Mobile App

A native preset is a Lightroom preset that you create in the Mobile Lightroom app. It is part of the app, and cannot be exported outside of the app. It is not the same as the DNG mobile preset files that you purchase and install in the app. There are two ways to create a native preset –– from a DNG mobile preset file or a photo. 

The steps to create a native preset from the photo is exactly the same as with a DNG mobile preset file. The only difference is on a photo, you will need make your edits first, then create a native preset following the steps below. The example below are with a DNG mobile preset file. 

1. Create Native Preset With DNG Mobile Preset File

First, go to the DNG mobile Lightroom preset file (or a photo) of your choice, then click Create Preset found under the three dot icon.  Next, Provide a Preset Name and Assign a Group for the preset. Make sure the following options are selected: Profile Color, Light, Color, Effects & Detail. Finally, click on the Check icon to save your native preset!

2. Apply Native Preset

To use the native preset you've just created, go to any photos you want to edit, and click on the Preset button located in the bottom bar and click on your saved preset.
