Tell us about yourself and your space!
I’m Siân! I’m an Administrator, Advertising and Marketing Manager for mine & my husbands business. We live in the small county of Cornwall in England, which is surrounded by crystal clear waters, beautiful mile long beaches and one of the most desirable places to be in the UK. We love where we live! I can be found on Instagram under: @meadowsgrey and my online blog is in the process as we speak.
Tell us about your interior design style and aesthetic. What inspires you?
With my job mostly revolving around Advertising & Marketing what started as just sharing photos of our new home has now become a real interest in interior and design. I work in the creative industry and I am surrounded by incredible artists and talent every day, I draw inspiration from everywhere around me. I like our living space to be calm and collected, neutral tones to relax and a bright, airy and open space to make our home feel larger than it actually is. This is because I mostly take inspiration from Scandinavian style who live by the same concept. I have struggled in the past to find my own interior style, there are so many beautiful homes out there and I am slowly finding my own unique style and can’t wait to work more towards it now I have a clearer vision of how I’d like my home to look.
Where do you shop for home decor products?
Being in the UK there are a few larger stores where I tend to shop and mostly online; NEXT, John Lewis, Maisons Du Monde & Wayfair. I do love IKEA for a bargain as I’m inspired hugely by Scandinavia. However I really enjoy trying to support and find smaller businesses with one off pieces or something a little different. Independent businesses hold a special place in my heart owning a small business myself, it’s important for me to give back and support my local community and reflect this in my home.
